Zite Manager is an initiative of IOM’s Global CCCM Technical Unit to help standardize and improve the quality of information management systems and outputs related to CCCM’s Mandate. Zite Manager is overseen by Bruce Spires, IOM’s Global CCCM Operations Coordinator, and supported by two dedicated technical consultants. Together the initiative aims to:
Improve operations by introducing new standardized processes that are fit for purpose.
Improve the quality and consistency of analytical outputs and tools related to these processes.
Co-Develop and introduce new productivity tools to improve the efficiency and productivity of humanitarian staff.

About Zite Manager
Zite Manager Application & Open Source Licensing
Zite Manager is both a programmatic initiative and a dedicated application co-developed by IOM. Zite is an open source technology that is available to humanitarians in need of flexible, productivity solutions that enable new ways of working and save thousands of work-hours. Since the beginning, IOM has worked to ensure Zite as an open source product that is accessible to the wider humanitarian audience. As a result, anyone is free to use the Zite platform for their own purposes and programs. To discuss this further, please contact us to learn more about what you need to get started.
Learn more about the application here or visit Zite, our co-developer, to learn more about how to adopt and elevate your own work.
Where We Work
We are constantly expanding and changing our operational coverage as new programs roll out new systems and some responses close down. Below is our Operational coverage as of January 2025.
Open Source and Funding
Funding for Zite Manager comes from a mixture of contributions from country programs and fundraising at a global level to further the objectives of the secretariat. Pooled funds are used to further maintain and develop the application, adding new features and improvements requested by our users and potential adopters. Funding is also used to further build capacity training materials, analytical outputs and other products related to the platform and work within it. Because of it’s open source nature much of the additions and improvements to Zite Manager are made available to a much wider audience of users, who benefit from the collective development and investment into the platform and associated functionality.
