SOUTH SUDAN

As CCCM Cluster State Focal Point for 3 States in South Sudan, IOM is also the Camp Management Agency (CMA) for 2 ex-Protection of Civilians (PoC) sites and 1 collective center – while also implementing site planning, care and maintenance in Malakal PoC. IOM CCCM piloted implementation of the Zite Manager Common Accountability Platform in August 2022. IOM currently co-leads the national CCCM Cluster as well as the Communication and Community Engagement Working Group (CCEWG) – and hopes to continue expansion of the tool with support from relevant partners working across the country.

 In 2023, IOM South Sudan plans to expand usage of the system to support ongoing routine service monitoring exercises and will be the pilot country for implementing the new standardized Zite Manager Service Monitoring tool across displacement sites. CCCM also aims to contextualize and localize usage of Zite Manager in mobile and roving response settings.
